than backup solutions that perform backups on a daily basis. And
because the solution uses snapshot technology, the entire system is
backed up, not just files. This shortens recovery time from days to
minutes. The solution further simplifies recovery by allowing for
easy restoration to any server hardware, physical or virtual.
LiveBoot technology, an optional feature, allows for near
instant recovery of failed servers by allowing our Network
Operations team to boot directly from the most recent snapshot in a
matter of minutes.
With all LiveBoot plans, we include a scheduled monthly test
recovery performed by our Network Operations team. This provides
manual, human verification of your recovery snapshots instead of
relying on the software verification process. This helps greatly in
ensuring the viability of your snapshots.
Cloud-enabled plans, also optional, provide highly secure,
off-site replication of your server's snapshots using the virtually
impenetrable CloudRAID technology, which encrypts and distributes
your data to 96 distributed systems.
Cloud plans also include replication to NewGen's offices for
