CompTIA study

Managed IT Services Users Benefitting from Real Cost Savings.

ComptiaCompTIA, a nonprofit association for the IT industry that conducts research and administers industry standard certifications, has conducted a study into the trends and impacts of Managed Services.

Managed Services is the IT industry term for the model of delivering outsourced IT services as an unlimited, flat-rate service. NewGen primarily offers Managed Services.

The results of the survey affirm the cost savings our clients have experienced adding credibility to our business model's cost-savings claims.

Among the current users of managed services that CompTIA interviewed, 46% of firms have trimmed their annual IT expenditures by 25% or more as a result of their shift to managed services, including 13% that have slashed annual IT expenditures by 50% percent or more. An additional 50 percent of organizations have saved between 1% and 24% of their annual IT costs.
